At Milette Doors, we resolutely turned ourselves toward the future by applying various sustainable development practices.

• The raw materials we use, mainly wood, come from a renewable, recyclable and reusable source.
• Our manufacturing process allows simplified recovery of wood residues which provide the necessary energy to the operation of wood dryers and plant heating. The excess is redirected to our agricultural partners. Thus, our production-based needs in fossil energy are practically nonexistent and our greenhouse emissions are carbon neutral.
• Various measures are in place to reduce our environmental footprint, including the recovery, treatment and processing of waste solvents as well as the maximum use and recycling of paper coming from entirely recycled fibres.
• Additional financial resources are available for the recycling of not only plastic packaging film received at the plant from our suppliers, but also of wood particles and glass residues. We thus avoid directing them to the landfill site.
