History
The 1990s
The business volume being in constant growth, the arrival of new customer service employees encourage Gérard Milette to
proceed with the expansion of the company's administrative offices in 1990.
During this decade, 1997 is undoubtedly the year to go down in history. Indeed, Gérard Milette invests 3.3 million dollars
in the construction of a new 52 000-square foot plant and a state-of-the-art wood dryer. He transfers the majority of
operations to the new plant. Moreover, being already involved in the family business, his five children become full
shareholders. Two other company managers also join the team as shareholders.
At the end of the 1990s, nearly 150 employees work at the plant. In 1999, the plant is once again expanded to absorb the
surplus of orders generated by an exceptional economic growth.
